The first Sukuma Twende charity golf tournament was held on 18th March 2018 at the Sigona Golf Club, with just under 100 participants who teed off as early as 6.45. The highlight was the auctioning of 2 business class air tickets proudly sponsored by Qatar Airways.

The popularity of this event led to it becoming an annual fixture in our calendar, and we have since held successful Golf days every year, with exciting prizes ranging from cars, airline tickets, electrical appliances, and gift hampers amongst others.

2021's event turned out to be grand with several amazing prizes up for grabs.  Including two (2) airline tickets from Qatar Airways & Holiday Bazaar Ltd. 

 

GA Insurance having supported us for the last 4 years, has once again come on board as our primary sponsor with lots of giveaways and goodies. We also acknowledge Maxxis Tyres,  Tononoka Steel, Habib Bank AG Zurich, Victoria Commercial Bank, Central Auto Hardware among others for their generosity.

We raised funds to plant 5000 trees in Mount Kenya Forest.  Funds collected will go towards various other projects to be announced soon.
