SUKUMA TWENDE TRUST
Swara Game Sanctuary
Sukuma Twende Trust had a day in the wild at Swara Game Sanctuary on Sunday 17th September 2017
Located on the Kapiti Plains opposite the rugged Lukenya Hills, Swara Plains is a private 20,000 acre fenced game sanctuary hosting a resident population of over 10,000 game animals such as cheetah, zebras, giraffes, ostriches, numerous antelopes, and over 280 bird species.
This is a once-in-a-life experience of cycling or walking with family and friends in this magnificent piece of African Savannah whilst enjoying the customary hospitality that has become the hallmark of the Sukuma Twende Group!
Canini Beehive Children’s Centre at Canini Health Trust runs a school with 45 children and runs an orphanage with 28 children. It is a stone throw away from Swara. The Centre was in need of assistance and the Sukuma Twende Trust pledged to assist the center with funds collected from this day's event in Swara.
